Photographs
Every species in Aviora has its own set of photographs taken from the Wikimedia Commons files used on that species’ Wikipedia article. They are contributed by photographers around the world under free licences (usually Creative Commons BY or BY-SA, or public domain). Each gallery image opens a lightbox with a “Source & licence” link to the original Commons file page, where the photographer and exact licence are listed. Please check that page before reusing any image.
Text
Species summaries, measurements, diet, behaviour, breeding notes and facts were written for Aviora. The “Overview” section on each species page and all World Atlas profiles are excerpts from Wikipedia, available under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 licence; each one links back to its source article.
Conservation status
IUCN Red List categories are read from each species’ Wikipedia taxobox when the site data is built. Assessments are updated regularly — always check the IUCN Red List for the current status.
